Beats me.

I know Obama has big slice of the pie, but the facebook cfo or whatever also happens to be working for him, so that's not a big suprise.

Facebook doesn't seem to have as much usefulness as youtube or myspace, so I think we see that reflected in the numbers.

If Giuliani supporters started hosting porn sites, I'd hardly think we'd need to compete...well actually, porn drives the internet and the computer industry, so maybe that's not a good example. ;)

Hasn't Giuliani actively been courting college campuses?

It's quite simple: college kids are usually more progressive, liberal voters. Even the "Republican" college kids are pro-choice, pro-gay marriage. And, although that really DOES align with Ron Paul, Rudy is seen as the Republican progressive candidate.

Ron's been losing for awhile now on facebook. It's odd because there are over 18k people in the congressman for ron paul group and Ron Paul has over 19k friends.

are we talking in terms of friends? Or are we talking in terms of the add-on application of "election 08"?

Facebook is kinda useless anyway. I wouldnt waste my time on it. kinda like voting in the Pajamas Media Straw Poll.

More attention should be paid to getting the message out to non internet voters if we want any chance to win in the real world.

Doesn't Facebook equate to college students? If so, then could it be due to a lack of campaigning on college campuses?

When that poll on facebook started, RP was way out in front with 60+% of all the votes.
