I wanted to post this last week with all the discussion about the Diebold machines, but my account wasn't activated yet. Anyway, my 2 cents are the voting fraud discussion doesn't belong on this forum and is a distraction from the proper focus of delivering Ron Paul's message. Of course it's not to say that verifiable voting is not an important issue. It is. But it is important to all of the candidates, not just Dr. Paul, that's why I think the discussion should take place someplace else. IMHO the fact that only Dr. Paul's supporters were raising this issue, undermines our credibility. Anyway, it's not my intention to start another timewasting thread on this issue and I won't be responding to any comments for that reason. I just wanted to provide a link to a site that I think could assist those that are very passionate about this issue. Here it is:
http://www.verifiedvoting.org/
This site will give you an overview of the efforts to improve the verifiability of voting nationwide. I hope all the details on the site will give you the perspective that there is a lot of work that needs to be done and because of that it doesn't make sense for one campaign to take this upon themselves to fix all of the problems before the next election. WE DON'T HAVE THE TIME.
Best regards to those who take up the cause to improve the voting process, but based on reading earlier threads my feeling is that most of the supporters would GREATLY appreciate it if you don't mention Dr. Paul's name in your effort.
Thanks,
Jason
