Doesn't he sound like Roger Rabbit when he asks this question in the very beginning?

This is good stuff. The ole boy is truly frustrated and pissed at these clowns. "Why don't we just open up The Constitution and read it!" This is an historic quote.

Awesome video addressing the idea behind Sessions' quote below: in it Romney says the MOST IMPORTANT "civil liberty" the government should protect, is ones right to life! ...

Alabama Senator Jeff Sessions

During the debate about FISA yesterday, Alabama Senator Jeff Sessions made the following statement: "The civil libertarians among us would rather defend the constitution than protect our nation’s security."
With this single, outrageous statement the vacuous Senator from Alabama makes clear to all that he has forgotten his oath of office. In that oath he is sworn to uphold and defend The Constitution of the United States.

I urge each and every one of you to contact both senators in your state and implore them to censure Senator Sessions for this vile and repugnant comment. No more can we the people of this great nation sit on our hands and let our elected officials run roughshod over the Constitution, thinking of it as "only a piece of paper."

Perhaps David Bowie said it best "...And these children that you spit on as they try to change their worlds are immune to your consultations. They're quite aware of what they're going through..." and yes, we are very aware of what is going on around us now.

There is a storm coming Mr. Sessions - a peaceful, cleansing storm of voters determined to righteously reestablish the significance of the most important document in the world. And we will.
