READ AND UNDERSTAND BEFORE YOU VOTE!
Just curious, how much would you risk for the cause?
I like the idea of the march in Washington D.C. which is
being worked on right now. But I think we can do much
more locally while the march is finalized.
Yesterday, President's Day, I joined a bunch of Los Angeles
grassrooters and did some slim-jim give outs at 3rd Street
Promenade Santa Monica. I was still surprised that how many
people didn't know who Ron Paul was. One Huckabee supporter
told me he thought Ron Paul was running under the Democratic
party.
It seems to me that to get attention, to get people talking
and possibly hearing the message, which I believe is more
important than the person, is either to have a VERY large
crowd (hopefully we'll have that in DC) or to cause enough
disruption to get noticed.
Hence, my question to see how far would people go? How far
would you go? How far would you push the "limits"? I'm not
talking anything extreme, immoral or "illegal." But are any of
you folks ready to put yourself in a position to potentially get
arrested similar to these anti-war protesters? (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/11/23/AR2005112302185.html)
(wait for the poll...)
