How many states already had their state conventions? I'm asking because I'm not sure how many is 150 out of... what? 200? 300?

Am I not mistaken in thinking that most state convention for electing national delegates are in summer, no?

he was talking about bound(pledged) delegates. we will have quite a bit more if they become unbound.

2382 (2380?) is the total count. I'm talking the total of delegates elected *so far*; not all state has their delegates picked.

Go Ron Paul,but watching the gop, we have another 4 yrs to build this. we need a miracle and if we are expecting it from the base of the gop ,then we are truly living in a fantasy world.

sounds great but in reality wtf, the gop is the drug addict in denial,they wont figure the problem of the addiction until after general election. just sit back and watch the gop fall apart until then they are in denial, gop is like a heroin addict let them shoot up themselves,then we can pick up the pieces after the party falls apart

can miracles happen? Yes, of course. Information could come out about McCain. He could get arrested, or more likely.... just die (isn't he like 112 years old).

But even if none of that happens and this becomes a McCain love-fest... this is about the future. It is about making a statement and gaining momentum for the Movement. It is about taking over Congressional seats and lining up our ducks for 2010 and 2012. So every delegate really DOES count.
