John Edwards In Favour on National Service?

I heard a rumour that John Edwards is in favour of people doing mandatory National Service whether in the military or some form of social care. Does anybody know if this is actually true?

He's a hardcore policing of the world and nation building supporter. He would have to make it madatory so he can fulfill his agenda.

He probably is for it even if he says he isn't. Lots of people, even those who should know better support Forced Public Service. Its not bad enough they take half of the money we earn in the form of taxes, they want EVERYTHING.
