See Who's Editing Wikipedia - Diebold, the CIA, a Campaign

I've seen cases where people edit their own bios to make it more favorable, so this is nothing out of the ordinary.

I view Wikipedia as a read-only resource now. There's too much bias on controversial topics. When I see an article with an obvious error, I don't bother to fix it.

Wikipedia's coverage of non-controversial topics is excellent. If I want to look up the World Series winners for the last 20 years, Wikipedia certainly has it right.

If you want good coverage of a controversial topic, Wikipedia is not the place to go.
