Just got this in my email:

Ron Paul Turns in Signatures to Appear on Pennsylvania Republican Primary Ballot

"I am extremely pleased to announce that Ron Paul will be on the Commonwealth's April 22nd GOP primary election ballot," said Ron Paul 2008 national field director Debbie Hopper. "Just 2,000 valid nomination signatures were required to secure a ballot position, but well-organized petition teams and extraordinary determination by scores of petition circulators resulted in a total of almost 10,000 signatures to get Congressman Paul on the ballot."

The sign wavers in Wilkes-Barre are already well known. They get a large responce and people are really warming up to RP's message up here in NEPA, but there are still alot of McCain supporters.

Whenever I drive home from NYC to Erie I always see signs and banners out on Interstate 80.

Isn't Pennsylvania Ron's native state?

Go, Pittsburgh!

On a related note, when I was at a thrift store, I found a Pittsburgh mug and bought it, only because it's Ron's birthplace. Do you think I have RonPaulitis bad enough?

Hehe nice. When we get a local HQ I am going to get some signs and canvass my neighborhood. Right now I only have a few pamphlets, yard signs, bumperstickers and buttons that I got from a meetup which I give to my family members that support RP.

Indeed. He grew in the suburbs of Pittsburgh.

And yes, you're officially obsessed! ;)

Time is more important. I suggest printing out some flyers and heading out now. I spent about 20 hours JUST DOING LIT DROPS!

I see signs EVERYWHERE. My local meetup group has been very active. We have a small but diligent bunch. I'm in Wellsboro - North Central PA.

Another idea that has been working great for me is I ordered a bunch of the "specific" slim jims and hand them out accordingly. The small business ones to small business owners, the tips ones to waiters and waitresses and beauticians, etc... and the gun ones to hunting clubs.

It really works. I have a friend that delivers bread and he has handed out a BUNCH for me on his route.

Don't forget that Ron Paul could get 0% in PA and it would be okay if all of "his" delegates were elected. So, it's more important to canvass for RP supportive delegates.... whom you can sell without even mentioning Ron Paul (they're technically uncommitted anyway), but just as conservative, active Republicans, etc (remember Louisiana? :D ).

We need more signs/bumper stickers here in the Philly suburbs. One little yard sign down the street from my job is the only one I've seen besides my own.

I also haven't run into a single RP supporter yet, other than when I went to give my signature to get Paul and delegates on the ballot. On the bright side, I never see any signs/stickers for any other candidates either.

Im going to a meeting tonight with people from the campaign. Discussing whatever its better to campaign for the delegates or for Ron Paul. Either way I have a good feeling about Pennsylvania

Thats cause no one else is truly dedicated to a single candidate like Ron Paul supporters. Dont let that fool you though, the sheeple will go to the voting booths and vote for whom their corporate news masters told them to.
