Got home late Sunday night from Ames. I still have yet to regain my voice after 14+ hours on Ron Paul Radio. Rick and I had a great time bringing everyone who couldn't make it to Ames a taste of RonStock.

Here are the promised pics.

That is the Granny Warrior RV in the background. Home to the now famous Monkey. We want to thank Granny Warrior for allowing us to use her generator. It saved people from tripping over our cables.

Even with a big day ahead Ron Paul took the time to be interviewed.

I was so busy on-air that my gf took these pics. I want to thank her for being a trooper in the 90+ heat. She didn't want to be on the radio, but, unknown to her, she was the first to report voting totals live from the Hilton Coliseum via 2 way radio. Shhh . . . I still haven't told her.

Thanks for the good words on the broadcast. It was our pleasure to bring to everyone. Rick and I felt we were taking part in a historical event.

The supporters of Dr Paul are unequaled! The groundswell of support is still rising. I have worked in politics for a long time, but this is the first time I have seen supporters grab a t-shirt and magic markers to make their own political shirts. Awesome.

I've seen some threads that seem a little disappointed in the Iowa Straw Poll outcome. I have two points I want everyone to keep in mind.

1. Dr. Paul received over 9% of the vote! That right there was a victory for the limited time and money RP had for use in Iowa.

2. Romney had a army of paid staff. He bought 10,000 Straw Poll tickets but only received 4516 votes. He can't keep burning cash like this or his boys won't have a trust fund.

Now is not the time to slow down. If the MSM won't give us time we have to make it on our own. "All Politics are Local" as the saying goes. Identify the issues in your community that Ron Paul's message of Freedom, Rule of Law, Low Taxes and Right to Life address. Then call your local talk radio and just say you want to talk about the particular issue. Don't mention RP to the screener. Get on-air, identify the issue, bring up the solution and at the end say that is why you support Ron Paul's candidacy because his positions would address the problem.

Nobody said this would be easy. Do you think the entrenched powers would roll over and say "we are sorry, you are right." These bastards, from politicians to major media, will have to be dragged screaming from their Ivory Towers before they will give us the time of day.

So get out there and make your own news. I loved the canned food drive in SC. The current Labor Day Clean Up America Event. There is just so much that can be done. The word of mouth advertising cannot be bought at any price.
