These people are dying, let's help them today.

9/11 First Responder and We Are Change ally David Miller is in the hospital again; this time his doctors have given him mere weeks to live. Our prayers go out to David, but it is not enough. With the excitement of the Ron Paul revolution and the news of more and more citizens waking up - we cannot forget our friends, the 9/11 First Responders. To many of us, these men and women are "Patriots" or "Heroes", but to their families and friends, they are David, Charlie, Mike, Lauren, John, and so many others, condemned to death because of the lies of Christine Todd Whitman, Rudy Giuliani, the media, and our government. These brothers and sisters are dying, fighting an uphill battle, often with little hope of recovery. We, the healthy, cannot remain silent; going about our business while the lives of these men and women wither away in their final days with cancers and other terminal illnesses. We the healthy must stand up for these members of our community who are to ill to stand up for themselves. David doesn't want our pity, he wants us to--at the very least--speak out on behalf of the 9/11 community: to demand health care and aid, and just and fair treatment.

David Miller is a single case. Out there are thousands like him, with tens of thousands undiagnosed. Again, we ask: What can we--the able bodied citizens--do to help? If we can raise 400,000 for a blimp, we should be able to raise money--and awareness--on behalf of the 9/11 Community. It is their stories that fuel our movement, the ones to bear the cross of the greatest crime in American history. Their stories must be heard--and taken to heart--by each and every one of us. David, we hear you, brother. Hang tough. Our hearts and minds are with you.
