SICKO movie

i watched this today and i mostly know Moore is eehhh,,, but he did a good job in this movie showing just how our health system works. i was shocked that most counties that are much smaller and less wealthy than ours have it so much better. In germany i belive it was, if you are very poor you even get reimbersed for your gas or taxi ride to the hospital before leaving. France seems like they have the best system. One guy on the movie got 3 months off work because he was sick, but got paid 100% of his regular check and didnt loose his job. Cuba even has a free system. the point is most people they showed in other countries had nice homes and a better more relaxed way of living that we do in the US because they dont worry about looing all theyve worked for "if" they get into serious medical destress. It just suprised me how much we as americans have to slave just to get by, while most of the rest of the world seems to have it so much better not only medically but in just general relaxed lives. have you seen this movie? if not go rent it. we are getting screwed here!



Let me edit though, i support Ron Pauls answer to fixing our system way more than i do the other countries way.

The only thing Moore really did was to point out to people unaware that the current system DOESN'T WORK.

Problem is it will lead everyone to the false, EASY answer of "free health care" (which doesn't exist), instead of looking at the problem in congress with the myriad other problems resulting from the US system of economics.

Yeah i know. i support Ron Pauls answer all the way over this movie, but i was just saying, we are getting screwed so bad. A bill paid by our insurance is a "loss" to the company. Very wrong!:mad:
