From time to time people post threads on lists of books we should read.

It is extremely rare for anyone to submit the two books that woke me up to the problems we face.

So I ask....a poll....have you read the two Greg Palast books.

(wait for poll.)

8 voters have NEVER heard of arguably the best investigative reporter of our time.

We need a coming out party for Greg Palast. Everyone needs to know who he is AND you can donate to the 501(c)3 non-profit Greg Palast Team.

Conspiracy People would love to read The Best Democracy Money Can Buy in it MR. Palast says, (paraphrase)

There are some wackos out there that think there are secret groups controlling the world. They're right.

He goes on to discuss a particular committee and some of their meeting minutes he has. Good stuff.

The results of this poll are sad.

Greg Palast should be our journalistic hero.

I wonder who has read the Federalist and Anti-Federalist papers?

I would love to read those. Are they available online? I want to find them...

[wonders off to google]

Federalist Papers can be found at the following URL.
The Federalist Papers Online (http://www.foundingfathers.info/federalistpapers/fedi.htm)
The Anti-Federalist Papers can be found at the following URL.
ThisNation.com--The Antifederalist Papers No. 1 (http://www.thisnation.com/library/antifederalist/index.html)

What is interesting to me is how foreign governments adopt our governmental structure for the most part without any analysis to whether it is actually of any good.

Does anyone know of a particular book that has both the federalist and anti-federalist papers in original language completely unedited?

I would like to buy them and worry that the book I order won't have them all or they will be edited.
