Ok, if any of you have the Blockbuster movie plan you'll understand what I mean when I say I'm running out of movies to watch. I get 3 movies at a time which allows me to pretty much watch a movie every day of the week. I've watched a lot.

What are some recommended movies available on the blockbuster online that I should order as a Ron Paul supporter?

Of course I rented America Freedom to Facism (http://www.blockbuster.com/catalog/movieDetails/278548)

I also rented The Secret History of the Federal Reserve (http://www.blockbuster.com/catalog/movieDetails/176027)

Rupert Murdoch's War on Journalism (http://www.blockbuster.com/catalog/movieDetails/249651)

Any further recommendations?

My bro highly recommends "The Good Shepherd." About the CIA. Just good general all around knowledge to have.

Well I have netflix, but pretty much the same deal.

America Freedom to Fascism is what led me on the path to finding out about Ron Paul. Before that, I'd been watching a number of political documentaries that raised my ire including:

Bush's Brain (about Karl Rove)
Maxed Out (about the credit card industry)
WMD: Weapons of Mass Deception
Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room

And, of course, a number of Alex Jone's works which I'm pretty sure you won't find on blockbuster, but are available to on joox/stage6/torrents. From what I understand he pretty much encourages people to copy his movies and distribute them for free, so don't have any guilt about downloading them etc.

Oh, forgot two, not that they're any less desirable then the rest:

The F... Word (saw it on IFC, dealing with the RNC in '04)
Loose Change (2nd edition, about 9/11, available on stage6 etc guilt free. The third edition is for theatrical release I believe)

Also, the Lone Lantern Society has a 'triple threat' initiative that allows you to download 3 movies via torrent. One of the three is freedom to fascism, but Aaron Russo, the other movie owners, and the man who runs LLS encourage you to download it, burn it, watch it, and distribute it for free.

Clint Eastwood's Flags of our Fathers and Letters from Iwo Jima are two great antiwar movies, I think.

Lawrence of Arabia

Explains MUCH about the mindset and the turmoil western society has fomented in the Middle East.

Shooter is a pretty good movie about government corruption.

Also Why We Fight is an Excellent documentary!!! You could probably get that through Blockbuster

If you haven't seen band of brothers i highly recommend it.
Best war movie ever made. Better than Patton, The longest day...any of 'em.

An excellent documentary that the OP might like is The Fog Of War (http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/fog_of_war/). a first hand documentary with Robert McNamara.

I really enjoyed this one because not only is it very informative but it opens ones eyes to what it might be like living a life of power where peoples very lives by the thousands or millions depend upon the decisions you make.
Really something that should not be missed.

When you are ready get your heart torn out about the most wicked massacre ever perpetrated in this millenium, watch the six minute video, The Hard Truth (http://video.google.com/url?docid=-5798661691249240882&esrc=sr2&ev=v&q=The%2BHard%2BTruth&srcurl=http%3A%2F%2Fvideo.google.com%2Fvideoplay%3 Fdocid%3D-5798661691249240882&vidurl=%2Fvideoplay%3Fdocid%3D-5798661691249240882%26q%3DThe%2BHard%2BTruth%26tot al%3D2113%26start%3D0%26num%3D10%26so%3D0%26type%3 Dsearch%26plindex%3D1&usg=AL29H20ZXdhcf2fUp8LNQRAkyPDs8uFuHA).

It shows how hideous abortion is. Not for the feint of heart, but a must for anyone who lives in America because we are DOING it. It will light a new fire under your ass to get Ron Paul elected (among other things).
