Ron Paul Revolution here to stay

Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul has said he will continue on with his campaign in an effort to get as many delegates as possible to the GOP national convention.

Paul’s campaign appeared not to anticipate the blackout of the print and television corporate media monopolies and has to date been unable to capitalize on his fund raising success.

There is however speculation that he may be laying the ground work for a 2012 run. Other supporters say that he has mainstreamed ideological positions such as military non interventionism, sound money, protecting the Bill of Rights, and ending income taxes and that these positions are now firmly entrenched within the GOP and are here to stay.

There may be evidence to support this position. In the state of New Jersey, Dr. Murray Sabrin has been endorsed by Ron Paul and apparently has the support of Paul’s unorganized political volunteers.

Trevor Lyman, a Ron Paul supporter and volunteer fund raiser that orchestrated of historic 4.2 and 6 million dollar one day money bombs for Ron Paul has set up a money bomb for Murray Sabrin at a website called www.scholaroffreedom.com. The website features video of Sabrin speeches along with a video of Dr. Paul endorsing Dr. Sabrin.

Sabrin is a Ramapo College Business professor and a long time advocate for limited government and free markets. Sabrin ran unsuccessfully for Senate and Governor before, but this time around appears to have a strong fund raising apparatus and is benefiting from Paul’s organizational volunteer base in New Jersey.

In a multi candidate primary, Sabrin is now a formidable contender for the spot as the Republican candidate for U.S. Senate in the Garden State. In a state that is overshadowed by New York and Philadelphia television media, Sabrin’s grassroots campaign can not be underestimated.

The question remains to be seen whether Paul’s Freedom Revolution can win a U.S. Senate seat? New Jersey’s June primary will be a first attempt at answering that question.
