WE MADE IT TO THE FRONT PAGE

As the markets fall, the US Government and Federal Reserve are trying to gain access to buy into the markets to give them support.

Federal Reserve owning businesses does not sound like a good idea.

Give it a digg:

so what happens when the Fed owns controlling shares?

it's funny to watch the system fall down around them while they panic because they never expected Ron Paul to say why!

except it wont be funny cause we'll be eating shoe leather. heh

Bump. We need to get this out there, the federal government and Federal Reserve will have the power to buy up companies.

Was this what Ron was alluding to in his question to Mccain at the debate? Regarding a board of some type.

Isn't this how the central bank took over their competition and consolidated their power during the great depression? If it worked once, I guess it will work again.

It would be nice if someone could come up with a plausible way to stop them.

Sadly, nothing legal would work.

Its scary that they will be able to print money, then buy up businesses with new credit. They're creating their own wealth.

They are trying to make it look like they tried to save you. Just to look good so you don't get mad.

They have to crash this system so you will accept the next "amero" currency system.

It's pretty simple and very obvious.

Yep, I came to the same conclusion. But I've also concluded that we were conned to put all our money into 401ks so the elites could line their pockets; money that will be long gone before the average American sees what's happening...

Buy inverse mutual funds that will go up as the market declines. Check out Profunds.

Isn't this pretty much what the Presidential Working Group on Financial Markets already does? (AKA the Plunge Protection Team)

Ignorance reigns supreme. I posted this on another board, nonpolitical, a few hours ago. Not a single comment. So sad...a thread on Britney Spears will have 6+ pages of comments within an hour but something that is THIS important, nothing. And this site has several thousand members, very active place for moms.

And yet we fight for the freedom of these very people... some times I question... if they are not willing to stand up and defend liberty for them selves, do they deserve it?

I looked at that: http://profunds.com/ProFundsProfiles/FundGroupID_20/Ultra_ProFunds.fs

I wouldn't feel comfortable taking that approach. It seems to me that there is too much room for error there, as it is only their "objective" to underperform the market in that sector. That's seems a risky strategy given that the entire market may collapse.
