The new program, called the National Applications Office, explicitly states that existing laws prohibiting the government from spying on U.S. citizens would remain in effect, the official said, adding that under no circumstances would the program be used to intercept verbal and written conversations.
Wow, I'm so glad that we're concerned about this horrible program, this has the government's official statement on following the law. They might as well not add in these little disclaimers, because we know that whatever they deny up front, that is actually the true purpose of it.

Are we going to come up with some kind of bill that prevents funding this nonsense?

Why do you think they cut the top of the trees so much in urban areas? How else can you see what's going on from above?
Also, ever notice that UPS/FedEx, etc vehicles all have their numbers printed in big characters on their rooftops?
Oh, and there is also software out there that can identify you by the way you walk.
Suggestion: Everyone start wearing hats again and walk funny ;)

Those tracking servers might need the help of "Anonymous".
