Did anyone hear this today? Boortz essentially dismissed RP because of earmarks and his foreign policy. Unfortunatly the caller was not very well informed and was speechless concerning the earmark situation.. I sent Boortz an email describing That RP wants transparent government etc etc Kinda makes me angry to say the least... not much of a libertarian if you ask me... Thoughts??

Boortz is not libertarian.

He's been a neocon ever since 9/11.

He is not a friend to RP in any way.

Take a look at the LRC blog today, there's a comment there about Boortz, too.

Boortz just wants to sell his FairTax book now. That guy is a total dick on the radio and even in writing.

Boortz is NOT a neocon. Just because someone supports the Iraq war does not make one a neocon.

Actually he would be considered a Neolibertarian

A "libertarian" that gives in to big government when it suits him, against it in principle when it does not.
