What I want to know is...what's with the companies donating to Ron?

HOW TO READ THIS CHART: This chart lists the top donors to this candidate in the 2008 election cycle. *** The organizations themselves did not donate *** , rather the money came from the organization's PAC, its individual members or employees or owners, and those individuals' immediate families....

Blank-Rome "Governmental Relations"

It's a mid-size DC-insider law-firm. I bet McCain has to use their services all the time to understand what the rest of the Senate is talking about.

Over in Iraq where they can't vote.

+1

Opportunity completely missed in Virginia last week, home of boatloads of military installations. Every other candidate appeared in a location near military bases. Obama's rally had 18,000 in Virginia Beach. Ron Paul was @ Liberty U attempting to appeal to a bunch of huck supporters.

Strong national defense helps to answer. Someone else mentioned awhile back, that when our nation calls our troops and bases back home, it will leave those countries having to defend their territories. That right there would mean CONTRACTS for defense. Chances are those companies would need to expand and hire.

LMFAO, we all know why all the banks are supporting John McCain: Staying in the war for 100 years could make banks like Citi, and Merrill Lynch extremely rich. LOL...if the stupid majority of the American people were to see stats like these, great things would happen.

Translation:

Our active military personnel are tired of invading innocent countries and killing innocent people and don't want to die in undeclared wars. Our banks want us to continue the killing so so they can profit. Most Republicans seem to agree with the banks.

(I think) that's individual donations from people that work at those companies.

This article is from November (http://rabbit-hole-journey.blogspot.com/2007/11/campaign-contributors-of-media-anointed.html), but it's still a worthwhile read.

That would be really good idea. Someone on here who is in the military should get that going.

Yeah, but where are all the military votes?

Unfortunately many military members do not vote in Primaries and Caucuses.

Although many DO vote in the General Elections.
