He has 804 delegates. A brokered convention is not possible at all. McCain will win by far a majority of the remaining states. You can't win a brokered convention with 17-40 delegates and without winning a single state.

I believe we can get a brokered convention if we want it.

We need to start getting local delegates signed up though, so if there is a brokered convention, all the delgates will vote for paul after the first round where they will be bound to vote mccain.

planning has started for it.

heh...
these are no state delegatesuntil the state conventions...

this is very important, because the state conventions decide who the delegates really are to the national campaign.

giving up now is like giving up before the real game begins.

Also, do you understand that no matter what, the national delegates will vote at the convention. A brokered convention happens if no one get 50% after that first vote. even in some states where mccain won the delegates don't have to vote for him in this first round.

this is why it is important to figure this stuff out.

seriously.

They decide who the delegates will be, but not who they vote for.

They decide who the delegates will be, but not who they vote for.

that is NOT true in all states.insome states it is purely advised to vote for a candidate, not required.

like colorado for instance:

You are incorrect!
I've yet to say anything to anybody about it yet since we all know 'the first rule of fight club,' but you apparently haven't read the facts for what it takes to achieve a 'brokered convetion'.

Hunter

p.s. It's not about winning the popular vote in at least 5 states!

Listen, your statement was more wrong than mine. You were speaking in generalities as well. I know it's not true in all states, but it is true in a VAST MAJORITY of them.
