Just curious as to how many people would allow a verichip to be implanted in them. And under what circumstances.

I would allow one to be placed in my corpse.
It shouldn't bother me much at that time.

Bad poll - because of the double-negative in the "no" option, we actually have three "yes" options. However, I picked "no" out of the understanding that the double-negative was unintentional ;) I will never willingly allow anyone to implant an RFID chip in me. If they do it through physical force, I will find a way to get it out.

I all most want to say it's a stupid poll here on the forums. But I won't.

It's more important that you raise awarness in others. What will probably happen (and is happening?)....

First they will advocate it for children. We must protect the kids. Tracking them will be a relief to parents worried about their precious pre-schoolers (understandable, but a better way needs to be found). Eventually whole school systems adopt tracking, maybe at first with removable trackers. The younger generation knows nothing but a tracked life. It doesn't bother them, that's just the way it is. Anyway, eventually implants are adopted and become the norm. You can use it to make purchases, no need to carry cash, no need to carry a separate (and easily mis-placeable) ID.

In less than one generation it goes from abhorrent to necessary. They won't ask me to do it directly, they won't ask you. It will be for someone you care about. It will be for someone young or someone old. The freedom of others will lie in our collective hands. Be sure you don't just say no for you, say no for them.
