Around May of 1983, approximately 4 months before being shot down in KAL007, Congressman Larry McDonald takes on Pat Buchanan and Tom Braden on Crossfire as they badger him about his new role as Chairman of the John Birch Society. He easily handles them and answers questions concerning the Elite's Conspiracy for a One World Government.

Pat Buchanan has come around since the time of this video.

On September 1, 1983, Larry McDonald died when Soviet fighters shot down Flight 007 after the plane entered Soviet airspace. McDonald was the only U.S. congressman ever killed by the Soviets during the Cold War.

How do you divert attention away from a discussion on possible negative connotations to a situation?By attacking with the tin foil conspiracy comments. Interesting to see the tactics haven't changed much, probably because it is so effective.

Yeah, the shootdown was very suspicious as well. Do your own research on it, I don't have an opinion. But Larry was awesome (most of the time).

Was just doing some digging on the shootdown...Bizarre does not even cover it but now I must adjust my tinfoil cap...10 weeks??? How can you investigate a crash in 10 weeks?? Not to mention the weird black box information release...Another one to add to the x-files of politics.

In my firm opinion, Larry McDonald and Ron Paul are the two best congressmen who have served during my lifetime, and two of the greatest in U.S. history.

I agree with Pat that it is more "momentum" than "conspiracy". Everybody wants to be on top, and with the UN, WTO, IMF, and World Bank, most elites are seeing world government as the way to best expand and cement their influence.

Linking it to communism was also wrong, the elites take advantage of whichever political movement suits them at the time.

The elites play the left vs. right paradigm game with Capitalism vs. Communism. What's scary is that free government education, Central bank, Federal income tax, and etc... are all planks of the Communist Manifesto (http://www.libertyzone.com/Communist-Manifesto-Planks.html).

So I did a quick search on Tom Braden, I'd never heard of the guy and came across an interesting tidbit.

You can see how confident he was in that interview, I think that scared the higher ups, he didn't play along with their games and was not intimidated at all, they knew they had to do something or he may have become a President.
