LP - pro choice and open borders

CP - pro life and secure borders

Other than those two things I think they are very similar in beliefs and platform.

Yes. It's a shame they can't be consolidated. If that voting block were strengthened, there might be a chance for a real breakthrough in the near future.

The Constitution Party would never agree to legalized prositution or drugs, or unfettered immigration, or the existence of pornography, or saying the "s" word on tv. Or showing buttcracks or cleavage on TV, or... you get the point. It's a theocrat prude's wet dream.

The Libertarian Party on the other hand is a complete mess.

I would disagree. The constitution is pretty far right on social issues.

"The party also opposes government recognition of same-sex unions, and believes state and local governments have the right to criminalize "offensive sexual behavior".[21] The party further opposes pornography, believing the government needs to take a stand against it. However, the party opposes federal anti-drug laws, in keeping with the spirit of Article 1 Section 8 and Amendment 10, while maintaining that the federal government may have a role in limiting the import of drugs.[24][22]"

I would consider myself fiscally conservative but socially liberal. But then again, maybe some people on these forums are also socially conservative. But I definitely fit more with in the Libertarian party.
