My site http://www.ObamaVPaul.com has been around for at least a month

His site is http://www.ObamaVsPaul.com. Notice he ripped off my header image and added a pay-click banner.

Wow, fuckin' ripoff artists. I like your site, Curlz. I'll make sure never to visit "vs".

Wow..Some people have no manners. I think a site comparing the two is worthy but just copycatting yours is BS.

Jeesh.

Actually, I wouldn't mind except that they put a pay-click banner on there and they are new to the forums.

That makes me suspicious.

a pay per click banner on a site is far less atrocious than what the person that made the 5th of Nov site did ie spam his personal projects and gains.

But with that said... it sucks that the domain name is so close to yours. why did you not buy both?

Because I'm only making the site to inform people about Dr Paul. It's not a business where I need to buy every different variation of the the domain name in case someone tried to steal my business.

then I do not see the problem.

both of the sites inform. yours is better of course.

I have a problem with someone making $ who is unlikely to put that $ back into the campaign. The fact that this guy stole my header image tells me his heart isn't in the right place.

i agree with the OP - the OP obviously put in the work because he believes in the message. The copycat reused his work, added a way to profit, then posted here. This puts his motives into question. This could cause problems down the line - for example, what if his site magically became really popular... and then he switched it to pro-Obama. I'm not saying he WOULD do this and I'm not accusing him of anything... it's just that the OP site is more trustworthy by definition.

Copying the header image is wrong but everything else ( similar domain, Adsense) is fair game.
