I personally would love to have a beer with Dr. Paul! I'd ask him, "So ... what's all this I hear about Monetary Policy?"

I have to admit I'm kind of surprised that Huck didn't do that well given his tendency to crack jokes and casual demeanor compared to others.
Not that I want to have a beer with him anyway. I'd have my Guiness with Paul any time of day. :)

I think Gravel would be hilarious.
We've all seen him sober, can you imagine him hammered?

Clinton wouldn't drink beer, but would probably flock to a powdery white psychoactive substance.

Well, if by "lucky" you mean she suddenly gets the urge to move to Canada, I would agree!

Ditto. Is there another kind of beer? I know there is no other presidential candidate worth having a beer with.

McCain, so I can get him plastered, take his wallet and ditch him. I'm thinkin' of taking him to the Blue Oyster.

I'd have to pick Guiliani. We would have great conversation, plus I could make fun of his lisp.

I don't think his jokes are funny, and I laugh at all kinds of crap. He scares me... seems really, really shifty. I imagine he comes across the same way in real life.

McCain....
I'd put rufie's in his drink, and get pictures of him all messed up half naked in leathers with a bunch of overweight prostitutes.
That'll win us the nomination! ;)

Mike Huckabee couldn't drink because he probably thinks it's a sin.
The reason this question is so relevant is because G.W. Bush won this poll in a landslide in 2000.
I would have one with Paul anyday cause I appreciate intelligent conversation.

Paul would make for great conversation, but I could see Gravel smashing mailboxes and tipping cows when he's drunk. So, I'll say one beer with Paul and five with Gravel.

Bill Clinton could hook you up with chubby sluts.
Definitely McCain. I'd take him to a Vietnamese joint then throw a beer in his face

Yes, he jumped into my mind right away! He'd be my choice. I doubt Ron Paul drinks. Maybe he does, but it doesn't seem to fit.

If I had a beer with John McCain I'd almost certainly end up punching him in the face. The others would merely be objectionable. That said, I don't even think Ron Paul would be a good beer drinking buddy. I think I'd rather invite him over for Thanksgiving.

A beer across the fence with Larry McDonald (RIP) after a day of yard work would have been cool.
