My dad and I just voted in Virginia for Ron Paul, the first (and best) guy on the ballot!

Just voted in Maryland. Check out my thread - I included pics of my vote on the Diebold machine.

Great news.

Two months ago, my aunt was leaning towards Mike Huckabee. She liked that he was a preacher. However, I have been doing my best to sell her on Ron Paul for at least 6 months. Her typical attitude had been "Ron Paul may be right, but he can't accomplish everything he's trying to do".

I knew the VA primary was today. I was sure she'd cast her vote in Chesapeake for Huckabee, if anyone. Well, I was wrong. Diehard Christian conservative, my 66 year old aunt voted for Ron Paul OVER Mike Huckabee. I am totally floored.

I'm not certain that I influenced her decision much, she tends to do her own thinking. I just hope that this will be part of a larger trend.

Awesome guys. My 'I just voted for Ron Paul' was back at the Iowa Caucus, but I feel the joy you guys do. Wonder how many liars will come here saying they voted Ron but instead chose Huckleberry.

I doubt there would be many if any, what would be the point?

A lot of people here yesterday were talking about how it'd be smarter to vote for Huck in hopes of ensuring a brokered convention. How about they convince people to do it the other way around?

Lol well I, for one, have invested way too much time & money into Ron Paul to not vote for him.

In fact, this is the most expensive vote I've ever cast ($2,300).

Huckabee has no chance in Virginia, so people should vote for Ron Paul anyway :D

I had to vote absentee because I'm in school, but my mom, who is not a member of any meetup group but still did great at spreading the word, just went with a carload of four of her friends- all of whom voted for ron paul. :D

I cast my vote for Ron Paul in Caroline County,MD this morning. I stayed and worked the polls until my supplies exhausted and now I am getting ready to hit the phones and make sure that friends and family remember to go vote today. I must say.... I almost broke down in tears because for the first time in my life I was actually proud of every single vote I cast on the ballot.
