A whole bunch of arguing and bickering and no promoting. Does anyone recall how that went for us? We need to come together people. Lets make some decisions and get to work on the promotion. This march must be epic if it is to have the impact we need.

Ita. If a day is very divisive, drop it. Arguing it HERE, among us, makes no difference. If people here say it is divisive among their own branch of RP supporters, take them at their word. This isn't about a few RP forum people not coming, it could mean TENS OF THOUSANDS of people not coming so get over it and pick another day.

We don't want to promote an incomplete thought. We need to get organized first.

Not really. We are already down to 2 choices for a date. When the date is set, the rest will follow!

Yeah everyone wants to be the decider. What we need to do is...

Feb 12: Brainstorm dates
Feb 13: Vote on top 5 dates
Feb 13-17: Have someone make calls to see if these dates are available. Work out a permit plan.
Feb 17: Vote on top 2 dates
Feb 20: Final date decided

While we decide the date we should have a handful of people becoming EXPERTS on civil Washington DC laws and city codes. We should have 20 people (more if people want to learn) who take it upon themselves to print out and make a small pamphlet of the top city codes in Washington DC that people need to know to keep themselves from being arrested or shot at by rubber bullets.
We need people to memorize the city code.

Another handful of people should work on making promotional material. It doesn't have to be date specific, yet. Just make a "March on Washington" video and materials - date can be added later.

What other jobs need to be filled?
- Food service
- Cleanup service
- Information kiosks
- Safety personnel (People who watch the crowd for thieves and troublemakers and report them to the event organizers. Safety personnel should not engage.)

Anything else?
