What weekend in March or April should the Rally be?

We've been talking about this... We need more time to plan, so March or April is too soon. We figure when school is out for everyone would be better. Last night we have pretty much been trying to decide between June 7th or the 21st.

The 21st is the day the constitution was legalized, and it's also when ALL schools are out, and it's the longest day of the year.

The main thing the 7th had going for it is '6/7/8' so at first that one was winning, but then we realized there is another big event going on that same time -Gay pride week in DC and there will be a festival going on and we think it's too much competition, and it's better to have it at a time when there are no other big events going on. So we've been arguing about mainly those 2 dates. :D

There are big events going on though during both dates, so we might have to come up with something better. 200k showup gay pride/rally/parade week with the 6-7-08 date. 100k showup BBQBash cookoff on July 21st.

March/April is too soon, we need to plan this out. Ron even said we should have one in 4 more months

We need to plan it effectively so we can get enough people that it doesn't fizzle and it makes a statement. Soon is good, but it's more important that it is large and visible.
