What are the important things to bring to DC in the SUMMER. ;) (see if anyone catches that)

Fly swatters?
Swiss army knife (for cutting out of those plastic handcuffs)

Any other suggestions?

I really hope this is a positive family friendly rally vs. a protest/revolt.

The last thing we need is for chaos to break out.

I agree. We need this to be family friendly or we won't draw in other supporters.

If we could mobilize some churches that would help. Homeschool groups. Heck, maybe even get the Amish and Mennonite community down from PA & OH. I know that last one is a stretch, but if they did...that would draw attention and bring a cross-section of our country. From these boards, we know we could have young, old, people of all race and color, conservative and liberals, gays and straight, Republican and Democrat....why not "Old World" with "Modern" (I hesitate to say "New World"...too NWOish for me).

Anyway, I'd like to see a children's area of some sort....

Yeah... call me crazy... but bringing a bunch of kids... and forcing them to participate in a long... tiring march... with a ton of people... seems a bit ridiculous.

Is this a march on Washington? or a Picnic?

If it is held on June 7th, make sure you bring your leather chaps. If it is held on June 21st, bring your grill and your favorite BBQ sauce.

Some of us have to...no family to leave the kids at home with. Plus, it is a teaching opportunity. Isn't this taking a stand for the Constitution & for our future?
