I wonder the cost for a group of us in major cities to charter a jet? You think it's cheaper or more expensive?

Well we may have to show our Real ID's if we fly commercially; however, I don't believe you need one on a chartered flight.

If you live in a state fighting Real ID, you may have a problem on a commercial flight. You may or may not be able to fly. At a minimum expect delays.

Chartered flight is good. Tin foil hat time....the idea of that many people object to the establishment on one plane worries me a bit though.

What will be the impact on individual citizens of non-compliant States?

Per the REAL ID Act, beginning on May 11, 2008, citizens of States that are not REAL ID compliant may not use their driverís licenses or identification cards for official federal purposes such as boarding federally regulated commercial aircraft or accessing federal or nuclear facilities. If these citizens do not have other acceptable forms of identification (e.g., a U.S. passport), they may suffer delays due to the requirement for enhanced security screening. REAL ID-compliant States are those that have both requested and obtained an extension of the compliance date from DHS, or have been determined by DHS to be in compliance with the Act and the final rule.

what kind of jet can be chartered? $99 per person is really good. They'd run out of jets probably for my meetup group here in las vegas haha

lol. Funny when you mention flying in a plane with all RP supporters, even if you don't believe in conspiracies, it does float through your mind.

Nah, you can charter a 747 if you have enough people to fit on it.

Sweeeeeeeeet, a 747, we'd have enough people to charger a lot of 747s!! I definitely want to get in on that, I'll tell my local meetup group about the idea, thanks!
