Are kids out of school by the 7th? Any parents out there?

June 21st?

21st!!

Someone else said - not all schools are out yet on the 7th. If we want to accomodate more people, 21st is better!

The BBQ convention is on the 21st.

I love skeet's idea for the June 21, 1788 (http://www.brainyhistory.com/events/1788/june_21_1788_44185.html) U.S. Constitution goes into effect as New Hampshire is 9th to ratify.

Ratification of the Constitution.

A Constitution March on Sat., Jun 21, 2008!

For an earlier one if that one is too late:

The day the Constitutional Convention Convened!:

A possible suggestion: May 25 (a Sunday--the day before Memorial Day Holiday): 1787 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1787) - In Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philadelphia%2C_Pennsylvania), delegates convene a Constitutional Convention (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philadelphia_Convention) to write a new Constitution (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Constitution) for the United States (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States). George Washington (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Washington) presides.

It's more than 90 days away. It's in the middle of a three day weekend, but not on a holiday. It's about the Constitution--about taking the first step in creating it. It's after the kids are out of college.

I won't attend if it is during that period of time.

Why? Don't tell me homophobes still exist in this country.. :( and even if they do, how come it would make you so discouraged from voicing your opinion on liberty - a topic that actually matters?

I'm saying the 21st for selfish reasons. I just realized The Cure will be here on the 8th. I love Ron Paul...but this will be the only chance i have to see robert smith live. i know...so UNpatriotic of me to be a music lover. </sarcasm>;)

We don't want a day where the media can say x # of people turned out for _____ day. It has to our own, not shared with other "events"

I initially jumped on 6/7/08 but now it's a toss up between that and June 21 Constitution Day. And 21 is looking like a sweet deal.
