I love skeet's idea for the June 21, 1788 (http://www.brainyhistory.com/events/1788/june_21_1788_44185.html) U.S. Constitution goes into effect as New Hampshire is 9th to ratify.

Ratification of the Constitution.

A Constitution March on Sat., Jun 21, 2008!

For an earlier one if that one is too late:

The day the Constitutional Convention Convened!:

A possible suggestion: May 25 (a Sunday--the day before Memorial Day Holiday): 1787 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1787) - In Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philadelphia%2C_Pennsylvania), delegates convene a Constitutional Convention (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philadelphia_Convention) to write a new Constitution (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Constitution) for the United States (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States). George Washington (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Washington) presides.

It's more than 90 days away. It's in the middle of a three day weekend, but not on a holiday. It's about the Constitution--about taking the first step in creating it. It's after the kids are out of college.

I vote Tax Day. "Theft Day."

BTW, Constitution Day is September 17th. June 21 is when New Hampshire ratified it.

6/7/8 sounds better
...

6/21 has "Contitutional endorsment"

:roll

6/7/8 1st choice, 6/21/8 2nd choice /let R.Paul take a look as well.../

this is so funny. we've all said the same thing on like 45 different threads. I love Constitution March although I initially proposed June 7th. Can anyone say why the 7th is better than the 21st? Make a quick case, but imo, the 21st has a clearer message. This IS what Ron is all about --- only question is if it's too late

If that's too late, there's this, but this might be to early:

You guys, before we pick a date - I think we should run it by the campaign, just in case for some reason one of the days is better for Paul's schedule than the other.

It looks like it's down to one of the two June dates, either the 7th or 21st!

21st! It would send a message to everyone that we stand for the constitution!

Plus, all schools are out by then... someone else mentioned that some schools are not out on the 7th.

21st!! :D
