It keeps things at -100 degrees F. It would take about $5000 worth of dry ice to make a solid wall covering one whole side of the RP tent 6 inches thick. I'll bet that it would keep everyone nice and cool. The latent heat of enthalpy would be much more than any AC unit could absorb, so it would work much better than AC. What do you think? Just being crazy?

I think a misting tent would be cheaper and more effective.
Plus the fog from the dry ice might be misinterpreted by the media as Bong Hits For Paul :D

The problem is that they don't have the equipment and the water hookup. Dry ice can be just plopped down anywhere

Oh, and the humidity is already 100% there, so I don't know if the misting will work in that environment

They had misting tents at the 25year Woodstock anniversary concert, and they do work in high humidity. (however I preferred to just sit in the mud)
I don't know if you need a water hook up or if they make self contained units.

Just make sure nobody accidentally touches the dry ice! You would probably want to put it in some sort of cage.

Tell them to lick the ice. Then you have a captive audience! :)

I was going to set this up actually but I kept forgetting.
