I like Memorial Day. Let's make the GOP & MSM remember us for a very very long time. :D

Id be against Memorial Day as it takes away from the 'official' Memorial Day ceremonies.

678 - that way I can participate (if I'm not in prison...)

That should be post-trial.

Anything sooner and I'll still be on bail terms - can't leave a 5 county area.

Of course - that's a gamble.
But hey - you guys get Ron Paul in office and he'll pardon me.
So... Any date is fine with me...

I've proposed May 17th in the other thread. Tax day is bad for students who are taking finals in April and we don't want memorial day or July 4th because we don't want our march confused with anything else. We don't want the memorial day march or the july 4th march. We want the Ron Paul Revolution March.

May 17th is after finals for most college students and it is a Saturday so most people have time off and it's an ordinary run of the mill Saturday so no one can possibly mistake it with something else. We need our own day. No need for this day to be a symbolic day. It will be symbolic enough regardless of date.

QFT.

QFT.

May 17 is Armed Forces Day

Also 6/7/8 would give us 3 more weeks to plan for it. I think we should make this an awesomely huge event with lots of planning.

Please add June 21 (day the constitution was ratified) to the poll

I love skeet's idea for the June 21, 1788 (http://www.brainyhistory.com/events/1788/june_21_1788_44185.html) U.S. Constitution goes into effect as New Hampshire is 9th to ratify.

Ratification of the Constitution.

A Constitution March on Sat., Jun 21, 2008!

For an earlier one if that one is too late:

May 25, The day the Constitutional Convention Convened!: (a Sunday--the day before Memorial Day Holiday): May 25, 1787 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1787) - In Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philadelphia%2C_Pennsylvania), delegates convene a Constitutional Convention (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philadelphia_Convention) to write a new Constitution (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Constitution) for the United States (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States). George Washington (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Washington) presides.

It's more than 90 days away. It's in the middle of a three day weekend, but not on a holiday. It's about the Constitution--about taking the first step in creating it. It's after the kids are out of college.

Best suggestion yet IMHO:

The day the Constitutional Convention Convened!:

A possible suggestion: May 25 (a Sunday--the day before Memorial Day Holiday): 1787 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1787) - In Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philadelphia%2C_Pennsylvania), delegates convene a Constitutional Convention (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philadelphia_Convention) to write a new Constitution (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Constitution) for the United States (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States). We need to move faster than that.

April 15 would get us a lot of sympathy.

Wait 'til school is out, please!?

Ron Paul said 3-4 months would be okay.

I think I prefer this date now. I started a new poll.
