Gen George Washington . . . . assumes command of troops and lays siege to Boston. War begins.. This will be our "Shot" heard around the world alerting our oppressors that we are here to stay like it or not.

College students can't make it due to final exams.

Other than it being too soon in my opinion, it is good.

This needs to be planned well in advance. 3 months minimum, I would think.

We need to pick something that isn't violently related. You saw what they did with the V for Vendetta bit. This must be a peaceful march in all aspects. Inflitrators will definitly be there trying to encourage unrest. (This isn't tin foil, read any history book)

Guys, please!! There are sooo many college students, (including myself, a medical student) who would not be able to come late April due to finals!! There is no way we can miss these, or we throw away an entire semester!! We make up such a large portion of RP support, don't leave us out, please!:(

who says it's official? GTHeck: Thread: Events on... (discuss date choice for March/Rally in Washington D.C.): http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?p=1246672

(PLEASE, PLEASE, SLOW DOWN AND DISCUSS IT. Give it at least, AT LEAST, 48 hours from now. Please, at least do that. We have plenty of time, and though we don't want to waste a second--it has to be perfect. Don't rush it and don't have one person decide until we've at least been able to deliberate on it for 2 days.)

Who said this is official? According to who? April is simply TOO early for a lot of people. This must be given some time to grow, spread - Youtube promotion - etc. People need to make arangements, get vacation approval etc.

It needs to be a day when University school and k-12 school is out.

This should absolutely be the first requirement, because it will guarantee the most people. That's the objective, not commemorating some particular day.

This will be our day.

Haste makes waste! Don't throw out all kinds of supporters. We need students to be there, we need parents of students to be there, we need time to get this thing moving! This needs to be HUGE! We don't get many chances to March on Washington, why would we throw a huge demographic under the bus!?

Paul Revere Released, Recovers Hancock’s Congressional Papers

On the mach back toward Lexington at gunpoint, Revere was threatened that his head would be blown off if he did not tell everything he knew. Revere was glad to oblige because he knew it would put the fear of God into these Redcoats to know there entire mission was compromised. Before they reached Lexington, the redcoats heard a volley from the Minutemen gathering on Lexington Green. They released their prisoners on foot right there and rode to warn their commanding officers. Revere hiked back to Lexington in time to convince Hancock to flee rather than fight as he was too valuable an asset to lose. In his haste, Hancock left a chest of Congressional papers in Lexington. When this was discovered, Revere went back to retrieve them just as the Regulars marched into Lexington at dawn. Revere heard the first shots that morning but could not stay around to see the outcome of the Battle of Lexington Green.
