I'm offering this thread as a starting point for discussing web site requirements. In general, the March on DC website will need to match people to resources and vice versa. For example:

1) People with air miles to donate need to be matched to people who cannot afford air travel.

2) People searching for housing need to be match to people with housing

3) Drivers and people looking for rides need to be matched (carpools)

4) We need to coordinate activities and speaker planned for the March.

5) A forum is required to coordinate messaging, as I think we ought to try to stick to our primary talking points.

Thoughts?

yeah, add somewhere with a date and something people can sign up to so we can have a rough estimate of how many people are planning on going. I think the committment it would require is good too. I'm super pumped for this!

I've spoken to Ray and volunteered to manage the security/hospitality volunteers for the event. If anyone else is interested in being a security/hospitality volunteer, let me know via email.
