Wrong. The anti-war republicans are voting McCain. It doesn't mean that they are actually against the war, just against the way it is managed, they generally want an increase of troops etc.

If you look at the state primary results the democrats are getting about 3-4x as many votes as republicans are. Doesn't look good for the GOP, but thats why McCains there ("opponent" for a Clinton to win)

People think Democrats will get us out of the war (they won't) and that is why the get so many more votes. The people who are actually against the war vote for Ron Paul or mistakenly vote Obama/Clinton.

Germany has rejected a US appeal to send more troops to Afghanistan, amid signs of strain in the Nato mission.
The US defence secretary had used a strongly worded letter to urge larger German deployment to south Afghanistan.
But his German counterpart, Franz Josef Jung, bluntly ruled out deploying any German soldiers to the area, which is at the heart of the Taleban insurgency.
In his letter, Mr Gates warned that without reinforcements the Nato effort could lose credibility in Afghanistan.

But what they consider winning is a nebulus dream of all the radical muslims marching in and laying down their arms and bombs. Yeaw Right!
