They called me to tell me they are opening an office in Providence and wanted to know if I'd like to come for the opening day. I told them I only want Obama to win if Ron Paul isn't nominated. He asked why, and I said if RP isn't elected, I'd rather see the country to go hell in a hand basket under a socialist democrat than a fake republican. I told him I'll be wasting my vote on a write in for Ron Paul and he let me go sounding a bit awe struck hah.

Fuck the whole establishment.

People won't/can't listen...this crap has been goin on for years and years and people keep thinking that things will magically get better. My optimism has ran dry.

Excellent!

Has there been much going on yet among the RP supporters in SE Mass/RI lately? I'm hopeful that there are still anti-war Republicans in the RI GOP (a la Chafee), but I wonder if they all changed party affiliation?

Political cartoonists: Draw a sleazy, old, smoke-filled-room, political-machine boss (labeled Democratic Party) stepping into a zip-up, Halloween-style, grinning Obama suit/mask.

If you still have their phone number, we should have a good pro-Ron Paul debater call 'em up.

Do talk to the people that call for other candidates and clearly state your opposing views -- with vigor.

I've been on the other end of these calls for Ron Paul and 3-4 of these in a row can be discouraging!

Why do people like Che Guevara?? This has always got me. He was a terrible person who managed to get so many people killed in the name of fascism. Why is he so respected? I really want to know.

I've tried converting my liberal friends and thought I could do pretty well. After all, I used to be one of them, and know the thoughts and emotions that make them tick. However, I have been an abysmal failure in this endeavor, as most liberals seem convinced that the mere presence of an "R" beside a political name automatically puts said candidate in league with the Imperialist, Social Darwinist Theocrats of America.

Even those liberals who consider Ron Paul the best Republican by far are taken in by Obama. I can't figure it out! Even when I was a hardcore socialist, I could see that Ron Paul was the only candidate on either side (other than Mike Gravel) who I would consider voting for!

Obama's positions on things offend me deeply. I could see where RP would offend socialists...the ideologies are so different.
