The real question is how blatantly must the elections be rigged before people start grabbing their muskets.

Heh, you just may be....

Like another post described before, they're going to gradually take them away, and most people will gladly comply.

Then, eventually, your neighbors/friends are going to turn you in.

Unfortunately, I think probably 80 - 85 % of the people who say "there's only one way they'll take my guns"....are full of shit. Its just too easy to be big and bad on the facelesss internet.

Unfortunately, I think you may be 100% correct.

Of course, it's not politically correct to mention such things on this forum.

I wouldn't say "We Know" the elections are rigged. I would say "We Know" the elections are not transparent. Transparency is elections is the key to winning over the general public. In my opinion, elections should be as full proof as your checking account. If my checking account was ran like an election I'd never put my money into it, as I wouldn't be able to check were the money went.

Education of masses about corruption in media and politics is the best way to combat systemic rigging.

Good idea. Seeems like preaching to the choir is more popular, though. :)
