This morning OUTSIDE in the 20 something degree weather, we had a press conference for all of the campaigns. It seemed as if all of the DC elected officials spoke as we froze our tails off. Afterwards, the presidential campaign representatives (I was the Ron Paul one) spoke briefly to the press. Afterwards, I went to the DC Board of Elections and Ethics to vote.

The Potomac Primaries (DC, MD & VA--or the Chesapeake Challenge, if you like) are tomorrow, but in DC we're allowed to vote pretty easily in person by absentee ballot. I just marked that I'll be out of the District tomorrow (helping on a Congressional campaign). Oh, and I voted by paper ballot since I don't think anyone from HQ followed my directive to be there for the machine testing previously.

When I was putting my Ron Paul 2008 button back on my jacket in the elevator after voting (I didn't think we were allowed to have that inside), the woman in the elevator (93% chance she's a Democrat) commented unsolicited, "Ron Paul? He's running a vibrant campaign!"

People are really beginning to take notice, with or without the MSM. It's the Cinderella story of all time.
