I can't vote at the election, so I do whatever I can to spread the word and keep the cheering up through the Internet.

Oh I only guessed since you cited the Times.

Thank you. I appreciate that and I'm sure all others on this board do too.

Nope, but I have been following your politics somewhat and I have been banging my head to the wall alot because of how Bush (and beyond) run the country. When I found out about Ron Paul I finally felt that something could be done. So here I am.

How exactly does the "ignore it as spam voting" mechanism work?

Why do people always ask for the link to be broken? Please explain this to me because I don't see the purpose of it.

of course, they use that odd format where at a glance it looks like Obama has Paul's current %

When the story is bad for Ron Paul, break the link. When it's good, keep it intact.

The reason is that Google increases the rank of internet pages based on how many links tie up to it. Popular pages on google have a lot of links to it from other pages. So if there is a bad story, you don't want it to become popular, which is why you break the link.

We've been dominating most online polls for months. Given how we've been doing in real polls (i.e. primaries), I don't see how one influences the other.
