Avery County ?????

Anyone working Avery county? The newspapers there are quite small and an ad would be GREAT there. You can bet there will be virtually ZERO people at an Avery County convention and the mountain folk would LOVE Ron Paul.

I think thats up near Boone. From what i understand they have some support up there.

Its true that folks out in the NC mountains would love Ron Paul, but the TV has a complete blackout of Paul in this this state.

I saw three Ron Paul stickers in the Wal-Mart parking lot last night here in Stanly County. 4 counting mine. :)

Hey Penners, Im an Avery Co. native and live next door in Watauga now. I just put up a yard sign up at my Mom's house in Avery on Hwy 221. I think many in Avery will respond well to the message also. We mountain folk are fiercely independent and personal liberty is important. Im wearing my button everywhere I go and have bumper stickers on car and truck. Watauga County conservative base has really been diluted with the University here.

There are a good few active here in Watauga and there is a Boone meetup group which Ive just joined.
