I'm thinking of TV advertising in NC but need some ads that will do a few things..
- get the name Ron Paul on TV hundreds of times each day
- associate his name with ~10 key facts
- be in a format that will give the most bank for the buck
Here's the idea.. 15 second ads (since they're the cheapest per view) that will be in "trivia" format:
The text "which Republican candidate for President never voted to raise taxes during 10 terms in Congress?" would appear and be spoken while a "tick, tock, tick, tock" sound is in the background.
Then a "ding" sound.. and then the text "Ron Paul for president 2008" would be displayed for a few seconds and spoken.
There would need to be ~10 other ads to rotate through..
"which Republican candidate for President received the endorsement from Norma McCorvey ("Roe" from Roe vs Wade)?"
"which Republican candidate for President has written books on economics?"
"which Republican candidate for President wants to reverse NAFTA to bring jobs back to our state?" (this is huge in parts of NC.. where NAFTA allowed whole textile mills to move to Mexico).
"which Republican candidate for President would bring troops home from peaceful parts of the world to help protect our borders?"
etc.. the more the better..
NC is an important state.. it has 69 delegates. Ron Paul was the top recipient of donations in many of the counties and it has precinct leaders in 15% of the precincts.
can someone make the ads??
