He's not getting paid to give his opinion but to tell viewers what OUR opinion is - Rudy O'Romney Clinton. He just doesn't want to look like a complete chump when Dr Paul does well and wins.

no, he does not! he told people to "get out there and vote for Brownback" earlier in the show, but I think he's a Hillary Clinton fan, he slobbers over her everyday.

Man, I really hope I'm wrong, but to me it absolutely seems like sarcasm on Matthews' part. He starts laughing the very second that Ron Paul's name is mentioned. "He's MY guy... hehehehe...." Like it's some kind of joke. Sorry everyone, but I don't buy it for one second. He laughs the whole way through! Painfully obvious to me. Matthews is a f#$cking a-hole.

The man is so primitive. Sometimes he seems incompetent up there.

I take that back, it wasn't sarcasm on Matthews' part, it was condescension. Rrrrrrrrrrr! I'm still tick'd!

My take is that his tone was 20% sincere, 80% patronizing. "Ok, I'll stick up for the runt of the litter." That's how I see it.
