I suspect that the Republican Party will lose this election badly if John McCain or Huckabee turn out to be our nominee.

As a Conservative, I can honestly say that out of all the "media darlings" Obama is the most conservative of them all and would destroy McCain in any National Election.

They'll lose unless Ron Paul is the nominee, it is that simple.

It's my dream to see Ron Paul verbally smack down Hillary or Obama. He would destroy them in debates, so much so that the sheep might start walking in another direction.

The GOP is split 90/10 or 80/20 but the Democrats are split 50/50. Not only that if Hillary tries to steal the nomination from Obama with super delegates there could be riots at the convention.

The GOP is split more like 45/45/10. The democrats are in a fiesty race but their rules require them to support their nominee.

I agree, the republican party is certainly split 45/45/10.

The democrats appear to be split but they really are not because most of them like Clinton AND Obama tremendously. There aren't many democrats that like Obama but not Clinton or Clinton but not Obama.

However, once Clinton loses slightly to Obama which she already is pretty much other than delegates, and then steals the nomination from Obama, THEN the Democrats probably will be split and furious, and if that happens they should be furious.
