Either Ron Paul was sitting down at that moment (unlikely) or that's a blatant lie.

That's what they believe because they don't know what conservatism is. They think RP is weak on "defense" because he wants to get out of Iraq? Look at my signature below :)

Huck is so pathetic. It's just sad. He's such an opportunistic suck up.

he would sell his soul for a vote.

Huckabee is not even close to being a conservative. If he somehow weasels his way on the Republican ticket, I swear to God I'll for for Obama.

Are people actually surprised by this? He isnt going to plug another candidate and essentially say "I am the best candidate... besides Ron Paul."

What annoys me, though, is when he says its a two man race. You think you are a better candidate? Alright, but at least acknowledge Paul's existence.

Excellent. We definitely do not want Huck to drop out. Let him grab the popular vote while we have our undercover delegates roll in under his name.

The conservatives today think "making war on third world countries" is conservative. Seems like they are willing to give up everything they believe in to be able to kill dem terrists!

He also constantly on the campaign trail claims he is the only Republican at the debates that said economy was in bad shape and that he is the most consistent on pro-life issues. Both a lie!

I want Huck out. Probably the biggest factor going for him right now is the anti-McCain sentiment, and he's hogging it all to himself.

Most people think conservatism is limited to being pro-life and against gay marriage.

Mike Huckabee is the most deceitful GOP candidate for President since Richard M. Nixon.

Am I the only one here who, while thinking he is pretty liberal, actually likes the guy?

Just because the man's a liberal doesn't mean he's an evil conspirator who's willing to do anything for a vote.

Didn't you just hear? He called himself the most conservative candidate. He said John McCain initiated the delegate deal in WV. He says he has the most enthusiastic support (which I guess is more of an opinion, but a lie never-the-less.) etc.

I think he legitimately thinks those things.

In the last CNN debate, Huckabee pronounced "conservatism" as "conservativism." He can't even pronounce the word, and I can't say I'm surprised.

Just because he believes something is true doesn't mean it is true and doesn't make it any less of a lie. He could believe god will come down to earth and kill all the people who don't believe in god. Doesn't make it true and if it is not true it IS a LIE

It isn't a lie if you have a different definition of a word.

His saying he's the most conservative left in the race is ridiculous from my point of view, but because he supports the war, and whatever else he thinks is conservative, doesn't mean that he is a lying scumbag. Throughout the majority of the country someone who supports the war is thought to be conservative, so if he wants to call himself the conservative, it is the case to the majority of Americans.

It'll go brokered before that happens, and then we'll win the ticket.

remember that when they say conservative, they mean neoconservative because none of them know what a true conservative is.
