Alright now.

Those of us who have read Dr. Pauls articles and books for years would have never dreamed he could get this far. I still think I am going to wake up in a puddle any moment now.

Everything that has occured so far is EXACTLY what we figured would happen years ago if he "ever ran again". But still we support him because he is making the case for liberty.

The way I saw it, I assumed that it will be USSA, and our route would be people like us getting hauled off while the sheep cheered over spoonfuls of ice cream.

But no. Now the case is made. The enemy - the elites, NWO, leviathan, etc - are seeing a declaration in the works and it is manifested in this campaign.

They had it locked in. America was reduced to two choices: socialist gun-grabbing tree hugger or warmongering police/soldier/state-worshipping fascist. The rest of us could look on and expect an "Alien versus Predator" state where no matter which faction wins, we all lose. Or perhaps someone would come along who, it would be stated, was a “uniter, not a divider”. Just like Hitler who combined nationalism and socialism. Let’s see, we have more warfare and more welfare while the corporations are in bed with government. But none dare call it what it needs to be called.

But no. We, with the help of Ron Paul, ruined that. All the media control (and they won't let this go, the internet WILL be under attack in the next few years) they had is gone. The control of both parties is gone. Sure Ron might have trouble with the republican party, but that spirit, and it may well be the spirit of 1776, is spreading. Look at what the democrats have done recently using the Obama campaign to throw a wrench into the gears of the Clinton Political Machine.

I do not intend to denigrate the college-aged youth that drives the campaign. As a matter of fact I have high regards for them. America went down on my watch and I fear not the jackboot for I deserve to die for my failure. When I was that age, all I cared about was getting laid and a faster car and video games and look what came of that. It was only after being out of country for 4 years that this frog felt the water much hotter than those who were put in it when it was only lukewarm.

Put trying to put it back together failed throughout the 90s and for the last 7 years. All we had were Ron’s articles on lewrockwell.com to remind us that there was AT LEAST ONE representative who still cared about liberty. I never lived in his district but have made donations to him since 2001 – the first one being the time we shot up UN flags with our politically incorrect rifles and sent them to Dr. Paul with donations.

Those of use who have watched and waited for years knew exactly what was going to happen.

And now that the actions of the government-MSM Complex and the political machine have collectively, through the use of misinformation, blackout, lies, smears, and outright threachery, smacked the Ron Paul banners out of the kids’ hands and say “STFU! WE OWN YOU”, the results are obvious. The enemy gets what it wants.

We could have said it would not be easy. We could have warned you but that would not have been a good thing. It was better that my generation – failures all of us – did not put a damper on what is likely the return of the Spirit of 1776.

So I am here to say that the Emo Kid thing I am seeing these days should stop. Not like you have a choice because if you think you are sad now wait a few years. And I can tell you from experience that sitting around thinking you are doomed does not work.

Stay the course.

I need not have to go through all of the great things accomplished in this campaign. If I could go back in a time machine and find myself and explain what was going on now, I would have presumed my future residence in that case to be one with padded walls.

What would be wrong with going forward, full force, caring not what the MSM thinks of us, or what the people – zombies that they are – think, sticking it to the status quo where “Truth is treason in the empire of lies”, and having a good time at it?

Nothing wrong at all.

But there is something that the new movement and all those new patriots have that we older farts (older to most of those in college anyway) have that we did not have in the last 15 years of Clinton-Bush dynasty: friends in the field.

A patriot’s life was a lonely one in the past. Back in my day (oh here we go again), those of us who though the system was a fraud and saw manipulation and injustice in it were quite alone. It was in may respects like a George Romero film where it felt like everybody else had become a mindless zombie and you and just a few others were still alive. There IS a lot of social commentary in the George Romero “dead” films and that’s why I use this example.

But now no patriot is alone. And if there is one thing this revolution does that matters so much to the future, it is bringing us together. I have, in past political activities, given flyers to people who acted like an angel came to them. Imagine someone in a world of ghosts, long given up in spirit themselves, crossing paths with someone who says “Hey! I am alive like you and I know you are too!” That is what the reaction was like.

I have only recently discovered these forums yet have been on forums for many years. I know well the people on other forums, patriots like the ones you find here and elsewhere, but this campaign is forming a bridge.

I am reminded most of a lesser known part of Patrick Henry’s speech, elsewhere most of us are hung up on “liberty or death”:

“The millions of people, armed in the holy cause of liberty, and in such a country as that which we possess, are invincible by any force which our enemy can send against us. Besides, sir, we shall not fight our battles alone. There is a just God who presides over the destinies of nations, and who will raise up friends to fight our battles for us. The battle, sir, is not to the strong alone; it is to the vigilant, the active, the brave. Besides, sir, we have no election. If we were base enough to desire it, it is now too late to retire from the contest. There is no retreat but in submission and slavery!”

So we are it. The social network must grow stronger and differences put aside. There is no choice in the matter and regardless of what it takes, this revolution will win one way or the other.

To fall to defeatism and despair will not only defeat us, but it will destroy everything that Ron Paul has done for us on our behalf. Even he says it’s not about him, it’s about the ideas. Yet look as this denigration because the enemy wants to play rough and the zombies’ only response to it is “brains” and more mindless shuffling around. Ron is not a young man and he also takes great personal risk by stating a desire to eliminate the Fed and IRS – a move that would deny power and money to some very powerful moneyed people who use any means to keep that power.

I am all for staying the course, beyond the caucuses, primaries, and September. I am for working with my “friends in the field”. Who cares if we lose or are destined to lose! Are we the people who are to be quietly shoved into boxcars while outnumbering the soldiers 100 to 1 and not making one last chance to go for the throat, as if not doing anything ensured survival? Are we to just give up and “sheeple out” until it all comes back to haunt each and every one of us someday? No.

Stay the course, hold the ground, and let’s take this fight to whatever end destiny has, be it ballots or bullets. You don’t have to like it.

But as Dr. Paul says it is an honor to be a part of our revolution as he musters great strength and cost to represent us, it will also be an honor to work with all of you in this great fight.

Do not give up, ever. I know I will not.

I enjoyed your post and understand. This crop of college kids is head and shoulders above any that have come before. I consider them a gift from God.

As a Christian, I have been long waiting for God to bring heaven on earth. It is possible today. There should be no hunger in the world, no war, no poverty, no crime. These things are man made and could easily be averted were it not for the manipulation of a few. Nikola Tesla invented wireless electricity over 100 years ago. We have the technology to feed the world. And, we all know about medical advances.

Yet, we all wait for this to be realized as if it were out of our grasp. We are still in the grip of those who manufacture war, death, disease, and famine for their own ends.

Romans 8:19
For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

While other Christians wait for Armageddon, there are those of us who are waiting for God to raise up his sons. They may surprise us when they appear. They may not be what we are expecting. They may not be found where we are looking for them. They may not even call themselves sons. They may even call themselves atheists--ha!

Romans 9:26
And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God.

I have only known Ron Paul for a short time, a matter of months although it seems like years. I cannot imagine what you have experienced, knowing him for so long and having to wait for something that you could see within your grasp. How frustrating it must have been. I see Ron Paul as a messenger of God. God's angels are men; the word for 'angel' in the Hebrew means 'prophet, priest, king, messenger of God.' If his message is taking root now it is because of God, --because it's time.

Isaiah 44:3
For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:

Acts 2:17
And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

Is this happening now? I look at the dedication of the people here and I know nothing will stop them. They won't lose for lack of trying,. I love to hear the stories from the caucuses. Look at Washington state! We are winning but the world doesn't know it yet, only those in the field know. I stand in the rain alone holding my sign, and find I have instant brothers and sisters. They let themselves be known, waving or honking as they drive by, and the biggest tip off is a huge smile. There is a quiet and humble confidence that whatever else, we have found truth. Ron Paul gives that to us in a way it was not given to any other generation.

The Christians are a huge voting block. They were brought into politics late and have been manipulated and used by their leaders. They have forgotten who Jesus is. Only God can drop the scales from their eyes. They are being told that God wants Armageddon. But, Jesus tells us he is life, not death.

John 10:10
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

And, God tells us that those who hate him love death. This should convict any Christian as to where they stand with regard to war. If you love death, you hate God.

Proverbs 8:36
But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.

No matter what anyone says, our Founders were Christians who believed in God. Their movement grew out of the Protestant Reformation, which was nothing other than large numbers of people reading the Bible in their own language for the first time in history. The New Testament is filled with the ideas of freedom and Liberty. Most of our Founders grew up reading the Bible and had divinity degrees, since all the first colleges in this country, like Harvard, were established to educate ministers. And, make no mistake, it was their intention to initiate heaven on earth, to establish that prayer which we pray every day without thinking about it--on earth as it is in heaven. The Constitution is the most dangerous document on the earth to those who are elitists, who would grab power for themselves over others, who hate God because they consider themselves in competition with Him. But, the Constitution is ours, given to us by our Founders who knew that freedom is our gift from God, and that we are naturally endowed with God given rights. As Dr. Paul likes to say, tyranny is as old as the hills, but Freedom is a new idea, only known to a few for 2000 years, and to a country for a little over 200 years. It was the intent of the Founders to bring the kingdom of God to earth.

“We have this day restored the Sovereign to Whom all men ought to be obedient. He reigns in heaven and from the rising to the setting of the sun, let His kingdom come.” --Samuel Adams, as the Declaration of Independence was being signed, 1776.

John 8:36
If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

From time to time we may shed tears of joy or tears of frustration but there is no whining in a revolution.

Our movement has rekindled our desire to set things strait, do the right thing, and has sparked a desire to have our country run the correct way. With the absence of fear, a lust for power, and unchecked greed, we can accomplish what our hearts truly desire. True Freedom for all people that our Constitution guarantees, and we will have it again.

Ron Paul has awakened a generation.
