I've been trying to get my mother to get interested in RP-- she lives in Cedar Rapids, IA and if I can get her to join the cause she's much closer to Iowa than I am and can get the word out more effectively. Anyway, I convinced her to go to the meeting/talk with RP last night (Thursday) and when I asked her about it (through email) she said this:

"I was very impressed; and have reported so to a lot of different people today. I understand why you are passionate about this guy; but, I believe he has a very uphill battle to fight!! I will continue to get the word out about him; I hope for him the best. When we walked away, it was like, WOW, we need to brush up on the Constitution, and the meaning of the word Liberty. Thanks for turning me on to him. MOM"

Anyway, I think that this whole thing shows that if we can effectively get his message out there, people WILL agree and will support him.

Just sharing the "good news."

Awesome!!!

My strategy was to have them watch Freedom To Facism...Ron Paul is in it too!

Now I practically have an Alex Jones in my family helping to get Ron Paul's word out. It's amazing....

Yeah, my parents were the same way. "I might have to vote for Fred Thompson." ... Me: "ohgodpleaseno..."

Now, quickly converted to the light!

Yup. Its all about name recognition. Once people take the time to look at him, they love him. (unless theyre worthless and lazy socialists)
