I did NOT work my tail off for the better part of a year, canvassing, going to Ozzfest and handing out fliers, going to Fenway to hand out fliers, walking parking lots and talking the ear off of anyone who who would listen and plant signs anywhere there was an empty spot of grass or put up with the campaign's bullshit for months on end to make the Philly Rally happen to watch the campaign simply walk away from this run. It is obvious that we need Huckster to keep RP's hopes of a brokered convention alive and if there is ANYTHING I can do, I will! Needless to say - I think if we can't get the nomination, we need to organize a nationwide write-in for Dr. Paul in November because I WILL NOT VOTE FOR ANYONE ELSE!

Good to see the enthusiasm.
Should we start organizing the write-in campaign NOW?

I'm there.

Looking into making a local level run as well.

So how do we go about doing this? Not your local run. I commend you for it but I'm focused on seeing Ron Paul as prsident right now.

Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.
Ron Paul 2004

I always give the ckeckpoint cops the business when they ask me questions like where I am coming from, etc. I tell them that I do not wish to discuss my personal affairs with them and then ask if I am free to go now. I answer every question that same way and always ask if I am free to go. They don't like that very much, but they always let me go, so far anyway.

The funniest was two female NY state troopers one time... one actually said she had a RIGHT to stop me and make sure I am safe to be driving. I had a good time with that one. lmao!

Cops have the rights now? I thought people had the rights and cops protect those rights?

Anyway, the point is, never let them intimidate you. Live as a free man or woman in a free country, no matter what they say or do.

I would suggest that if you are in a state where the primaries have yet to take place, double the national efforts and get people you have already reached motivated to also canvas as hard as you do.

Its the same principal as creating wealth. You need many paychecks in one day. Like making money on a 500 check to 1 day of work basis, canvas by having your team of supporters hit up multiple people and sources each day. Create a Ron Paul franchise. Advertise on meetup groups for team members. Be a team leader.

In states that have already gone by, contribute financially to his congressional campain as much as you can each check. Canvas for him by sending letters to people in his district. In the meantime, continue to display your Ron Paul gear with pride. Even though your state has passed, if Ron is bombarded with pledged support from people who weren't reached before the primaries and members of other parties, he may have to consider doing a third party run if he doesn't get the nomination despite what he says now. The congressional contributions are key because that makes it easier for him to make a run.

The most important aspect is not getting discouraged. It is ok to fall, as long as you fall forward. The goal of special interest groups, socialists, etc.... is to discourage the moral of the base of all those who represent America's traditional core values and founding principals.

Use the discouraging news as motivation to change the outcome. You can't expect change in the country from it's downward spiral if you can't allow yourself to change your own mindset to a positive one.

Also, make sure you keep the dream alive as a top priority. If you can't picture the outcome of a Ron Paul victory, if you can't already feel how amazing it will feel to accomplish this change back to morals and decency, if you can't picture yourself fighting until the very end, it won't happen. When dreams become passing thoughts is when they die. If our founders allowed discouraging events to shut them down, we wouldn't even be free to make this fight. Go out and protect these rights we were given by the sacrifice of others by making the effort to do what is right.

Just a thought
What about a Write in" as a Republican Ticket out side of the GOP?
Not Third Party but....Conservative Republican
I'm not sure it would work but it might.

A simple write-in should suffice

My understanding is that write in ballots are tossed without being counted.

My understanding is that write in ballots are tossed without being counted. Now you know why the recount was so important.

You think the vote officials didn't get the message loud and clear? You bet they are paying attention.

If you think they aren't, send them a nice e-mail and a link or three to some of the youtubes and stories.
