Called (206) 575-2900 - and lady said that Chairman will make announcement at 9.00 and counting will continue - according to her there is no plan to stop!

She was surprised to hear about media reporting!

Not too sure, due to UCMJ restrictions I'm not allowed to be that politically active. I am personally interested in the results from around the country, esp WA tonight.

Well... 9:15 come and gone and no updates. Guess FOX was right - no more counting tonight.

They have missed their "deadline" each time by several minutes. So this is nothing new.

Take it for what it's worth, but the media just said that counting has ceased for tonight. Strange, eh? Let your mind run wild.

9:26 and nothing, and now the WA GOP site won't load due to server error... Did we crash it hitting F5?!?

Yeah, it's working for me now... One of you fine WA residents want to give'em another call and ask what's taking so long?

Most complete results I could find as of 11:30 (central) were from the NY TImes (ironically enough!) http://politics.nytimes.com/election-guide/2008/results/index.html They show RP in close 3rd at 21% with 78% precincts.

HOWEVER, this is way below the % of Dem preceincts counted- now WHY would that be. Hmmmm....

Keep your eyes out folks, looks like we migt have our first win. (Cross yer fingers!!)

I hope so, but it we won't really know if half the RP supporters are counted as undecided.
