Sounds like a rigging to me, or they are trying to figure out how they are going to spin it.

WHAT THE FUCK?!

I feel like the movie "my cousin vinnie" when they prove their case and the witness for the other side doesnt want to say it..

Vinnie says, "its okay, you can tell em.. they know"

I don't understand why the Democratic party seems to get their numbers out faster in most states yet they seem to have the higher turnouts.

They'll say since McCain's already got the nomination wrapped up, only the crazy Ron Paul people would go to vote, once they finished smoking their dope and explaining to how 9-11 was an inside job to local residents.

From everything I've read here, they can't rig it. The names of the delegates and who they supported were released publicly at each caucus.

Can't rig a caucus, because every delegate knows they won before the officials do. How you gonna rig that?
The most they can do is to lie now and then let someone find out the truth later when it doesn't matter. But then the news will be bigger than now because of the shennanigans associated with it.

Sounds like they are thinking of all these scenerios, but they are going to come to the simple and obvious truth that they will have to tell the truth to minimize damage.

Another delay, or is the GOP Chairman about to speak?

They take this long to make a decision, the decision will be that they will try and screw someone.

They had to figure put a way to present the results so that it looks like someone else is winning for a little bit. They had to go through the different caucuses and find the ones McCain and Huckabee did well in to report them first. That's just my guess anyway.

Seems that CNN have graced RP with two more delegates. Now it is 16 instead of 42.

It is very easy to rig a caucus. Everyone knows how their caucus voted, because they got a tally slip. When everything is added up at the state level, someone makes a "mistake" and their candidate wins. No one person knows how every precinct voted. You have to independently audit every precinct to ensure a fair count.

But this only delays the inevitable, because it will soon be apparent at the state convention.

I wonder what kind of punishment is threatened to state party leaders that allow a Ron Paul victory to go through untampered.
